DURING THIS TIME, INDIVIDUALS CAN ENJOY A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES, RECEIVE 24/7 SUPPORT, BUILD SOCIAL CONNECTIONS, AND DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS... ALL WHILE EXPERIENCING A CHANGE OF SCENERY. THIS ALSO ALLOWS FAMILIES AND CARERS TIME TO REST AND RECHARGE.
OUR 1:1 AND 2:1 SUPPORT IS TAILORED TO EACH INDIVIDUAL, WITH PERSONALISED ACTIVITIES DESIGNED AROUND THEIR GOALS, INTERESTS, AND SUPPORT NEEDS. THIS MAY INCLUDE COMMUNITY OUTINGS, SKILL DEVELOPMENT, APPOINTMENTS, AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES THAT ALIGN WITH THE PARTICIPANT’S PREFERENCES.
ACTIVITY COSTS ARE COVERED BY THE PARTICIPANT. WHERE POSSIBLE, WE RECOMMEND HOLDING A VALID NSW COMPANION CARD TO SUPPORT ACCESS AND REDUCE COSTS.
COMPANION CARDS ALLOW A SUPPORT PERSON TO ACCESS PARTICIPATING VENUES AT NO COST WHEN ATTENDING WITH THE CARDHOLDER. THIS HELPS REDUCE THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCESSING THE COMMUNITY WHILE RECEIVING THE NECESSARY SUPPORT.
